Public engagement session about changes to WAVE Bus services scheduled for August 17 at Scio Township Hall. More Details Coming Soon
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is requesting that WAVE eliminate fixed route bus service and limit Door to Door service in the area where the AAATA operates in Scio Township. The reason for this is that the WAVE Bus is a non-urban (rural) service and the AAATA is an urban serice. If WAVE does not make these changes MDOT may completely eliminate WAVE Bus service along the Jackson Rd corridor all together.
